Jas Lara is a second-year at the MFA in Fiction Writing program at San Diego State University. She is balancing working on a sci-fi novel, poetry zine, and a children’s picture book (Phew!). She is also an assistant editor at SDSU’s creative collective, The Crisis Carnival. Jas Lara is based in San Diego and Tijuana.
